The Sanatan Setu Devotee application offers a rich, end-to-end spiritual ecosystem, including:

• Vedic Puja & Anushthan Booking: Booking verified Vedic Pandits and Acharyas for at-home, office, or temple rituals (such as Griha Pravesh, Satyanarayan Puja, Rudrabhishekam, Navchandi, Vivah Sanskar, Hawan, and Shanti Pujas).
• Live Arrival Tracking: Real-time distance and estimated arrival tracking of assigned Pandits traveling to your specified venue.
• Astrology, Kundli & Matchmaking: Precise Vedic birth chart generation, planetary Dasha calculations, Gun Milan / Horoscope matching, and personalized astrologer consultations.
• Daily Hindu Panchang: Location-aware sunrise/sunset timings, Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kaal, and auspicious Choghadiya Muhurats.
• Temple Darshan & Pujas: Participating remotely in holy Temple Pujas, ordering Chadhava, and streaming live temple darshans.
• Vastu & Numerology Consultations: Booking tele-consultations and on-site visits with certified Vastu and Numerology experts.
• Spiritual E-Commerce (Sanatan Store): Doorstep ordering of authentic Puja Samagri kits, Hawan samagri, certified Rudraksha, sacred Yantras, Gemstones, and Deity Idols.
• Sacred Content & Sadhana: Digital Granth scriptures reader (E-books/PDFs), Stotra & Mantra audio player with multi-language lyrics, and spiritual habit trackers.

3. Information We Collect and Why

To provide high-quality spiritual services and seamless user experience, we collect the following categories of information:

A. Personal Identification & Contact Information

• Details Collected: Full Name, Mobile Phone Number, Email Address, Gender, and optional Profile Avatar.
• Purpose: Account registration, secure phone OTP authentication via Firebase, booking notifications, WhatsApp/SMS confirmations, and invoice generation.

B. Puja Sankalp & Family Details

• Details Collected: Gotra, Rashi, Nakshatra, Kuldevi/Kuldevta name, and participating family members' names.
• Purpose: Provided exclusively to the designated Vedic Pandit to perform the sacred Sankalp ritual on behalf of your family during Puja rituals.

C. Astrological & Birth Details

• Details Collected: Date of Birth (DOB), Exact Time of Birth, Place / City of Birth, and Gender.
• Purpose: Required strictly to compute Vedic planetary charts (Kundli), Dasha timelines, and personalized horoscope predictions.

D. Address & Delivery Locations

• Details Collected: House/Flat Number, Street Address, Landmark, City, State, PIN code, and GPS coordinates.
• Purpose: Enabling assigned Pandits to reach your Puja venue and delivering physical Store items / Temple Prasad via courier partners.

• Details Collected: Device Model, Android OS Version, Android Device ID, IP address, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Push Tokens, and crash logs.
• Purpose: Sending instant booking updates, fraud detection, security verification, and resolving app crashes.

• Support & Issue Resolution: Answering devotee inquiries, assisting with date rescheduling, and processing refund requests.
• Security & Fraud Prevention: Verifying user phone numbers via OTP and preventing fraudulent activity.

7. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data with third-party advertisers.

We share minimal and strictly necessary data only with essential platform service providers:

• Assigned Pandits & Acharyas: When you book a Puja, your Name, Venue Address, Phone Number, and Sankalp details are shared with the assigned Pandit solely for conducting the ceremony.
• Payment Gateway (Razorpay): Processes digital payments, UPI transfers, and refunds under PCI-DSS Level 1 security.
• Logistics Partners (Delhivery / India Post): For physical Store items and Temple Prasad delivery, recipient Name, Address, and Mobile Number are shared with the courier.
• Mapping Provider (Google Maps Platform): Geocoding addresses and calculating route distances.
• Push Notification Infrastructure (Google Firebase): Delivering transactional push alerts to your device via FCM.
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Supabase): Encrypted database and server hosting located in secure data center facilities.
• Legal & Law Enforcement: Disclosed only if mandated by a formal court order, government subpoena, or applicable Indian statutory laws.

Deletion Timeline: Upon receiving a verified deletion request, your profile, birth charts, saved addresses, and personal records will be permanently erased or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days. Statutory transaction logs (e.g., GST tax receipts) are retained for the minimum statutory period mandated by Indian tax laws.

10. Children's Privacy

The Sanatan Setu Devotee App is designed for a general audience and is operated by adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly collect personal contact information from children under 13 without verified parental or guardian consent.

When parents provide birth details or names of children for family Puja Sankalp or child Kundli analysis, such data is processed solely under explicit parental authorization. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information without parental consent, please email us at privacy@sanatansetuu.site for prompt removal.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new app features, spiritual offerings, or regulatory amendments.
